You may never claim images that are taken from this site as your own, however modified they might be

Definitions

Licenser - This is Joseph Elliott (Pixelliott), I grant you the licence.

Licencee - This is You. You need to purchase a licence to download and use Original photos.

Photo - This is the term given to images that have been taken by a camera, i.e. photos.

Screenshot - This is the term given to images that have been taken by a digital device.

Thumbnail - These are smaller sized images that can be scraped off the website for free that are used as a demo for the original images. The typical dimensions of a thumbnail image are 512 x 384

Original - These are images that can only be downloaded using the 'Download' button and are either marked as Free or a payment has been made for usage of the licence. Original images are of much higher quality as they are the original image taken by the device.

Copyright

Before and after purchase of a licence, the copyright of all images, photos and screenshots belong to the capturer Joseph Elliott (pixelliott).

Thumbnail and Original

No photos or images taken from this site can be claimed as your own. Even if the image is greatly modified you cannot claim it as your own.

You may not resell images that been taken from this site.

You may not redistribute or resell images that have been purchased from this site.

Images may be used for commericial or non-commercial purposes with or without modifications.

Thumbnail

Attribution is required

By default all thumbnails include built-in attribution in the form of a small badge in bottom left hand corner.

If you wish to use your own attribution, then email dev@pixelliott.co.uk with a description of where you intend to use the thumbnail.

Original

Attribution is preferred but not required

Original images do not include any built-in attribution as they are the original image taken by the device.

By purchasing a licence, you are purchasing the rights to use the image and not the image itself. Images on this site remain in the possession of this site, before and after purchase.

You may not redistribute or resell original images taken from this site.

You may use original images for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

You may make any modifications you desire to the original image. All original images are purposely unedited so that the licencee can have a greater range of quality with the image.
